2. The Position:

• Title: Lower Elementary Pastor
• Grades: Pre-K to 1st Grade
• Classification: Part-Time

3. Key Responsibilities:

• Spiritual Care & Discipleship: Teach weekly Sunday School and/or Children's Worship based on Reformed theology, and create a nurturing, gospel-centered environment.
• Ministry Leadership: Recruit and lead volunteers, collaborate with the Education Department, and plan events like VBS and seasonal celebrations.
• Communication & Administration: Maintain regular communication with parents, ensure child safety procedures, and attend monthly department meetings.

4. Qualifications:

• A strong personal faith and agreement with the Westminster Standards.
• A calling to minister to children and families in an urban, multicultural context.
• Knowledge of Reformed theology and commitment to Presbyterian polity.
• Seminary training (in progress or completed) at a Reformed seminary.
• Experience working with young children.

5. Compensation:

• Salary: Starting at $2,000 per month.
