About Promise Ministries International (PMI) and Promise International Fellowship (PIF)

Promise Ministries International (PMI) is an Assemblies of God church located in Flushing, NY. Although PMI is known as a Korean church, it has a global vision. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Reverend Ben Hur, PMI is wholeheartedly committed to the 4/14 Window to reach 2 billion children around the world for Christ.

Promise International Fellowship (PIF) is an English-speaking, multicultural/multigenerational congregation within the PMI family. With a congregation of about 200 people. Our weekly afternoon Sunday services emphasize dynamic worship, Spirit-inspired sermons, and an active community of fellowship.

Ministry Goals and Objectives

●  Serve as an associate pastor of PMI as the lead pastor of PIF
●  Partnering to fulfill the vision and goals of PMI
●  Create and drive PIF’s vision and strategy in line with the larger vision of PMI
●  Provide strategic leadership to the Deacons, Staff and others serving in the ministry
●  Oversee and participate in the care of the church through visitation and crisis intervention
●  Continue the vision of missions through new and established programs

Position Requirements

Personal and Professional Characteristics
●  Possess the ability to relate and convey biblical truth to all age groups
●  Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to listen
●  Possess the ability to disciple, teach and shepherd members of the church community in conjunction with other members of the pastoral team
●  Maintain a healthy balance of personal growth in the Lord, family life, and ministry life

Qualifications and Experience
●  Ordained minister (Officiate Communion, Baptism, Marriage, official duties, etc…)
●  3+ years of full-time pastoral experience with a multicultural/multigenerational ministry
